How to write a CV and cover letter that shows off your skills to employers

Career Studio

CVs and cover letters are crucial when applying for vacancies as they provide a clear summary of your skills, experience, and qualifications to potential employers. A well-crafted CV can make a strong first impression and increase your chances of being shortlisted for an interview.

With that in mind, this session on Wednesday 9 July will help show you how to best articulate the skills and experiences required to successfully apply for graduate jobs, placements and internships.

You’ll also be given a cheat sheet that helps you to tackle the current disconnect between the skills you have and the way current recruitment systems evaluate them.

The team will focus on how to make your CV and applications stand out for the right reasons – and you’ll also have an opportunity to submit your CV for individual review and feedback.
